The Blessed Mess

Why is it that, no matter how many times I wash the dishes,

There are ALWAYS more to do?

Sometimes I wish they would clean themselves.

Why is it that, no matter how many times God gets me through a mess I’ve made,

I always seem to get into another one?

Thank goodness He doesn’t leave me to clean up after myself,

such a hopeless mess.

No…a blessed mess.

  1. I love your post today. Thank you!

…And I do agree, there are ALWAYS dirty dishes! LOL!

  2. just think, if there were no dirty dishes in your house, that would mean your house was empty. I always thank God for my hubby (while I’m wiping up his wiskers from around the bathroom sink). And you are so right about God cleaning up after us. Prayerfully He’s not always having to clean up the same mess again and again.

    • LOL…I almost did the post for this picture about being thankful…you are so right! And the same goes for cooking, laundry, housework… Good reminders when I’m getting the grouchies! 🙂

  3. This is so hard to accept sometimes, but also, so true! Thank you for posting! And thanks for linking up on my blog!

  4. Great message! We all need to remember this more often.

  5. I LOVE this. Finding the miracle in the ordinary – that’s hard to do.
